#it's been kind of a rough week for me #one of my oldest and closest friends took their life #we used to live in the same town but more recently were 2 hours apart #but the night it happened i was visiting town #normally i would text her #see if she was free while in town to see if she'd be able to hang out #but i didn't this time #i was in town for a wedding and didn't want to detract from my friend getting married #and while one friend was giving their vows my other friend was bleeding out #im sorry if this is triggering #it's just been a lot to process for me these last few days #this one's hard for me #she was my age #she was my friend #and i let her down #and while i know it wasn't my fault #i can never get back the time i lost #the time i might have saved if id sent that text #and now all im left with are memories of long talks and a funeral procession #tw bleeding #tw suicide #tw self harm #tw depression
